Technical Data

The protocols and standards supported

Protocols control the exchange of information between data terminal devices, and ensure that data is transferred without loss. They consist of conventions on data formats, timeframes and error detection and correction. An individual protocol controls specific functional areas. The exchange of data between the mrs server and the telephone systems is controlled by the protocols SIP, EDSS1, QSIG, TCP/IP and H.323, as well as CORNET and ABC-F as manufacturer-specific protocols.

Selected features

IVR:

  • Forwarding of calls to specific destinations (“automated attendant”). Voice- or keypad-controlled entries enable callers to be routed directly to their call destinations.
  • Preselected forwarding of incoming calls according to specific criteria so that callers are connected to the most appropriate person (e.g. in interaction with the cycos Multimedia Contact Center or call centers from other providers).
  • Configuration of self-service voice systems which allow multimedia initiation of voice information (e.g. a weather forecast by voice or recipes by email).
  • Integration into workflows (e.g. booking a holiday, ordering tickets).

Caller Guide:

  • Voice-supported telephone routing, deployable as a fully automated telephone exchange
  • Voice or keypad selection of the person the caller wishes to speak to
  • Integrated “Find-Me-Follow-Me” function with four contact options
  • Individual configuration options
