Siemens Enterprise Communications France & Cycos France in a merger to strengthening Unified Communications & Partner business
Paris, January 12th 2010 – cycos SAS, part of cycos AG, is to merge their entire operations with “Siemens Communications Enterprise France”, part of Siemens Enterprise Communications. This will lead Siemens Enterprise Communications France to further strengthen its Unified Communications (UC) portfolio while expanding its indirect sales partner network. All operations of cycos France: Sales, Consulting, System Integration, Professional Services, Cycademy and F&A will be seamlessly integrated into Siemens Enterprise Communications.
cycos France with its unique expertise in selling UC solutions exclusively via indirect channels into the various market segments will ideally complete the SEN France team. cycos VARs and distributors now can, additionally to the Unified Communications product suite mrs Vanguard, optionally purchase further completing products and services from the merged entity.
With mrs Vanguard, cycos partners offer end-customers a Unified Communications solution with a uniquely modular approach, while each communication application can be licensed separately, in line with employees’ individual needs. mrs Vanguard can be integrated into existing VoIP infrastructure and legacy telephony as well as business and groupware Processes as of Microsoft, IBM or SAP. This is a perfect fit for the Open Standards based portfolio of Siemens Enterprise Communications.
Customers already capitalizing on the advantages of mrs Vanguard will continue to be serviced through our certified VARs and System Integrators network. Siemens Enterprise Communications will integrate the cycos product flagship mrs Vanguard into its broader UC roadmap, with the goal to providing the market with the broadest UC functions and modules scope available in the market, leveraging the synergies on the Siemens Enterprise Communications product suite OpenScape UC Application, cycos based Siemens OEM brand Xpressions and mrs Vanguard.
