Uwe Hermanns (42), Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of cycos AG since June 1st, 2010, has a long experience in the communication business. At cycos AG he is responsible for development, service, IT and human resources.

In the last 18 years he worked for the Siemens communication unit in different jobs. Tasks of his professional live has been Service expert, customer project realization, Service manager in the Czech Republic, Service Line manager (HQ) for the west European countries, Global Vendor Support manager, development manager for software applications (UM, CTI), head of development of cycos AG and Vice President Development of Siemens Enterprise Communications GmbH & Co KG.

Uwe Hermanns studied in Aachen (FH) Communication Engineering and completed his study in 1991.

He is married and has two children.
